Liam Horne - CEO. Prior to leading OP Labs as CEO, Liam was the head of engineering at Optimism. He is a co-founder of ETHGlobal, Ether Capital, and L4, and held technical leadership positions at Atomic and PiinPoint.

Karl Floersch - Co-Founder and CTO. Karl specializes in the development of blockchain systems, focusing on Ethereum. His experience prior to blockchain had him engineering software for clients including Macy’s and SC Johnson, and working full time with Citibank and Riverbed Technology. After graduating from Stony Brook University with a degree in CS, Karl has contributed to the growing Ethereum software ecosystem. He maintains an Ethereum focused blog, karl.tech, and is active in the Ethereum community. He is driven by the opportunity to build a better future, which Ethereum provides.

Optimism Foundation

Jinglan Wang - Co-founder & former CEO of OP Labs, now Executive Director of the Optimism Foundation. Jing started her crypto career with the MIT Bitcoin Club and later became a blockchain product manager at Nasdaq. As the founder of Optimism, she was phenomenal in leading a new model of digital democratic governance. She has since transitioned to lead Optimism Foundation, Optimism's nonprofit arm focused on building innovative governance structures and an ecosystem of contributors on the Optimism protocol.

Benjamin Jones - Co-founder & Chief Scientist. Prior to co-founding the company, he worked as a Blockchain Associate at Underscore, an early-stage tech venture firm with a community-centric model supporting cloud intelligence entrepreneurs. Benjamin graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics.
